Reagan National Defense Forum Press Guidelines
Members of the media are accredited by the
Reagan National Defense Forum (RNDF) with the understanding that they will
attend in an editorial capacity and are not there for sales or other business-related
purposes. Only individuals who are working for and representing a recognized
news organization may register as press with the assignment to cover and report
on RNDF. Please note, press credentials are not equivalent to RNDF attendee
credentials.
Press who violate any of these guidelines will
have their accreditation and their team’s accreditations withdrawn immediately.
Accreditation

Members of the media attending the Reagan
National Defense Forum must be accredited by RNDF.

Media accreditation must be requested online
by December 1, 2021 and will not be available on-site.
●
All accreditation requests are subject to
final confirmation by the Reagan National Defense Forum. Approved media will
receive a confirmation email from RNDF.
●
Accreditations are not transferable.
Press
Access and Rules of Engagement
Accredited press are invited to attend the
reception on Friday, December 3, and all panel sessions and keynotes on
Saturday, December 4. The Saturday reception is invite-only. There will be
designated areas for accredited press during all plenary sessions, the
breakfast, luncheon, and closing session. The final schedule and panel topics
will be announced at a later date.
Press badges must be worn at all times while
at the Reagan Library. This includes attending conference sessions and panels
throughout the Library Campus, as well as during interviews with any event
participants. It is also requested that media members identify themselves as
press when engaging in conversations with all event participants.
Please note that lunch, coffee and snacks will
be provided in the press filing room for accredited press. Seats at the
breakfast and luncheon on Saturday, December 4 are for invited conference
attendees only. Live-feeds of all panel sessions, the breakfast, luncheon and
closing session will be available in the press filing room.
On Saturday, December 4, all press are
required to be in the Presidential Learning Center filing room or off-campus
within 30 minutes of the final panel session.
Interview
Rooms
The Reagan National Defense Forum has
interview rooms that can be booked in 30-minute slots on a first-come,
first-served basis.

Acknowledgement
Policy
The Reagan National Defense Forum requests its
full name or official logo be used in all reports related to RNDF. This
includes all on-the-record interviews that occur during the Forum.

logo, photos of panelists or b-roll footage from the Forum, please contact the
RNDF media relations team at rndf@pinkston.co.
Transportation,
Parking and Check-In
RNDF does not provide shuttle service to and from
nearby hotels. However, parking and shuttle service is provided at an off-site
lot near the Reagan Library. Shuttle
vans will make runs to the Reagan Library throughout the day.
Upon arrival at the Reagan Library, media will
be directed to the press check-in area to receive their badge for access to
RNDF.
Additional parking and directional information
will be sent in the weeks prior to RNDF.

COVID-19
The 2021 Reagan National Defense Forum will be
held in-person on the campus of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and
Museum. We closely monitor public health guidance and will ensure appropriate
protocols are followed to ensure a safe and rewarding experience for all.
